SNOWCOACHES IN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
WHY RIDE A SNOWCOACH?
A snowcoach is a great way to see Yellowstone, the animals and geological formations in the winter. Riding one of these over-snow vehicles is an experience in its own right. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience thermal mists and do your own geyser gazing. Or, take the road-less-traveled-by and go north to the scenic grandeur of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Watch for Yellowstone wolves, bison digging for grasses under the snow, nesting bald eagles, and the famous Yellowstone elk herds. Our Yellowstone snowcoaches have LARGE, CLEAR, UNTINTED windows that are designed for once-in-a-lifetime Yellowstone photographic opportunities for professionals and amateurs alike.
HOW TO BUILD A SNOWCOACH
The simple explanation is that all we do is remove the wheels and replace them with Tracks and or skis. However the process for converting a custom touring van into a snowcoach is a lot more complex than that and involves a lot of work. Many details have to be attended to as this mode of transportation induces much higher stress loads on the vehicle.
